Frequently Asked Questions

1. What type of oil or lotion do you use?

I use high-quality grapeseed oil, which is lightweight, unscented, and absorbs easily into the skin without leaving a greasy residue. Grapeseed oil is known for its nourishing properties and is gentle enough for most skin types. If you have allergies or sensitivities, please let me know so I can adjust accordingly.

My CBD oil is a premium blend, carefully formulated to enhance relaxation and support muscle recovery. It contains a mix of CBD extract and skin-nourishing carrier oils to promote absorption. While research suggests CBD may have anti-inflammatory properties, results vary, and this add-on is entirely optional. Available for an additional $15.

2. What is draping, and how does it work?

Draping is a professional technique used to ensure your modesty, privacy, and comfort throughout your massage. I use a sheet and blanket to keep your body properly covered at all times, only uncovering the area being worked on. At no point will you be fully exposed, and I will always ensure you feel safe and at ease during your session.

3. Do I need to undress completely for my massage?

You should undress to your comfort level. Many clients remove all clothing except for underwear, while others choose to leave on more layers. You will always be properly draped for privacy, and I will work around whatever makes you feel most at ease.

4. What should I expect during my first massage?

Your session will begin with a brief consultation where we discuss your needs, preferences, and any health concerns. After that, I’ll step out while you get settled on the massage table. Once the session begins, I’ll check in about pressure and comfort after a few minutes to ensure the best experience.

5. Do you offer deep tissue massage?

Yes! I incorporate deep tissue techniques to help release tension and address muscle tightness. If you prefer firmer pressure or need focused work on certain areas, just let me know, and I’ll customize the session to meet your needs.

6. What is the scope of your massage services? Does your massage therapy include any form of sexual touch?

My massage therapy is strictly professional and focused on therapeutic healing, pain relief, and relaxation. It does not include any form of sexual touch. For those seeking professional, restorative bodywork, you can expect a safe and respectful environment. Any requests for inappropriate or sexual touch will not be tolerated and will result in the immediate termination of the session, with full payment required.

7. Should I tip?

No need! My pricing is all-inclusive and already reflects the full value of your massage. Your return business and referrals are the best thanks I could receive.

8. How can I prepare for my massage?

To get the most out of your session, try to arrive well-hydrated and avoid eating a heavy meal right before your appointment. Wear comfortable clothing, and be ready to communicate any preferences or concerns so I can tailor your massage to your needs.

9. What if I fall asleep during my massage?

That’s completely normal! Many clients doze off during their session because massage promotes relaxation and stress relief. Whether you stay awake or take a nap, the massage will still be beneficial.

10. Can I talk during my massage?

That’s entirely up to you! Some clients prefer to chat, while others enjoy silence to fully relax. I will follow your lead and create a comfortable, peaceful experience based on your preferences.

11. What if I feel sore after my massage?

Some soreness, similar to what you might feel after a workout, is normal—especially if deep tissue techniques were used. Staying hydrated and applying heat or gentle stretching can help ease any post-massage soreness. If you have any concerns, feel free to reach out!
